He was always there and will forever be
I always thought I truly knew this path
The way in which I grew up into
So many times I asked myself
When I really began this journey
Because I seemed so lost
In this every-second different situation path
The truth was established years and centuries ago
Accepting it alone is a gift from Him
Walking in it can seem all bright and perfect
Without taking the proper rules of the journey
Finishing it is full of unimaginable rewards
Accepting,
Was all thanks to my birth parents
Who devotedly saw me through it
Walking,
Is not an easy road
For there is no more milk but bones to chew
No more shelter from parents
But one’s devotion of His creator
So many times I have fallen
On this long narrow road
Trying to run and take shortcuts to the finish
But like I said, it is walking, not running
Gracefully this journey is not about the swiftest or the first
But the devotedness to the Creator
Just like He told me “One day at a time, be patient, no shortcuts”
Heeding to Him, I decided to walk courageously
And amazingly I saw that I was not alone in this path
For we were many
Helping one another as we went on
The army, growing, and the journey, easier
Finishing,
He said “One day at a time”
We patiently walk together now in faith.
