The sun if rising from the east
Once again
A new dawn has broken
As I walk through the evergreens
The beautiful greens that have the dew of morning
Reflect the sun’s rays into my eyes
I perceived in my mind’s eye
The vast emptiness of the forest
The day before
But I was wrong, the creatures
Large and big
Small and tiny
All greeted –Good Morning-
And sang the morning’s song
I was lost in my thoughts
Dancing to the cockerel’s song
Out of nowhere
Fear
Entered my marrow
My bones felt flexible and weak
Then I realized that the sun was in the west
Once again
But I had not gone far
My life’s journey is still not complete
My purpose is fast approaching
Time is running out
